The Family Dreggs is set within the special 200th episode of a fictional early 1990s Australian family sitcom. The episode is being broadcast LIVE and chaos ensues when the set is infiltrated by the actor who portrayed the previously 'killed off' patriarch of the family and is now trying to rewrite himself onto the show as a new character, 'Uncle Jack'.
